How sports psychology can help advice business leaders

He says in advice firms he sometimes finds the owners are moving in different directions to the team but they have never had this difficult conversation with the staff.

"As a result you can never have this end objective that everybody agrees on because nobody has actually talked about it," he says.

"So one of the things we do...before we lift the floor boards on what systems are being used, what the market is, how they are delivering advice, it's actually [looking at] what is the advice firm for, who is it for and what is it trying to do."
