The price comparison service, MoneySuperMarket, has partnered with LifeSearch to make buying life insurance “quicker and easier”.
The new service features an online “Buy Now” experience powered by LifeSearch and supported by a panel of insurers.
For those who prefer more personalised support, LifeSearch’s experts are available to help by phone.
MONY Group, parent company of MoneySuperMarket, commercial director, Sara Newell, said: “Life can be unpredictable, and our customers rely on MoneySuperMarket to find the best financial deals to stay prepared.
“That’s why we’re excited to introduce our new life insurance service.
“We’ve put in months of hard work to make sure it’s easy to buy online and backed by expert advice on the end of the phone when you need it.
“Plus, with support from top insurers, we can offer competitive prices and peace of mind for anyone looking for life cover.”
The collaboration aims to design a more “intuitive” customer experience, including new question sets that provide faster quotes and a streamlined application process.
It also includes advanced technology that supports customers through their online journey with “clear and prompt” guidance.
Once a customer receives a quote, they can choose to Buy Now through MoneySuperMarket and can be covered in less than six minutes.
If a customer’s information indicates that a Buy Now journey isn’t suitable, they are directed to alternatives, such as fee-free expert advice and assistance from LifeSearch’s team.
Additionally, the newly extended partnership offers access to a range of life insurance products, including Critical Illness Cover, Whole of Life, Family Income Benefit, and Business Life Insurance.
Initially, the new online journey proposition will be supported by a panel of six insurers, namely HSBC, Legal & General, LV, QuoteMeHappy, Royal London and Vitality.
LifeSearch chief executive officer, Debbie Kennedy, said: “At LifeSearch, we’re delighted to have extended our long-standing partnership with MoneySuperMarket and help co-create their brand-new life insurance service.
“Sorting out life cover isn’t always straightforward for consumers.
“However, the new service offers greater ease and access, with an enhanced and more intuitive online buying experience.
“Plus, if and when they need it, that all-important human touch reassurance, with help and advice from our expert LifeSearch teams.”
