The report also shed light on the biggest concerns that business owners have about their exit strategy and succession plans.
Under a quarter (21 per cent) were most worried about seeing their business fail and 18 per cent were most worried about their employees’ future employment.

Concerns over the current economic climate also featured heavily, with 20 per cent saying that they were most worried about their business being downgraded due to soaring interest rates and high inflation.
